Mr. Robert Skip Rodenburg
Mr. Rodenburg has been teaching at Dumas Tech Academy since 2008-2009. He has taken an alternative route to a career in teaching. He graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, IL with a B.S. in Finance in 2004. Upon graduation he moved to San Diego, California and began surfing full time and working for J.P. Morgan Chase in his free time. As time progressed he realized that his true calling was in education. He returned to Chicago and became a member of Chicago Teaching Fellows. He has since earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. He loves teaching and inspiring young minds. He holds the middle grades Math position at Dumas and teaches a writing class. You can find him in the gym after school. Mr. Rodenburg loves being active! He snowboards, surfs, camps, hikes, wakeboards, skydives, and just about anything else that is a rush.
